The Ritz-Carlton, Naples
Ritz Kids
Naples, USA
KCC Score: 80/100 — Outstanding
The Ritz-Carlton, Naples sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico's sugar-white shores, and its Ritz Kids programme is among the most intellectually ambitious children's clubs in North America. In partnership with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida — a leading regional conservation organisation — the programme delivers a co-developed curriculum covering coastal ecosystems, Gulf wildlife, and environmental responsibility through seven rotating daily themes.
At the heart of the experience is the Nature's Wonders room: an immersive science lab housing 11 aquariums with live sharks, crabs, sea turtles, and eels, alongside microscopes, preserved reptile skeletons, vivariums, and terrariums. A resident naturalist leads daily Animal Demos, while Explore the Shore takes children on guided Gulf Coast shelling and beach walks every morning. Complimentary tours of the Conservancy's Nature Center and electric boat tours of the Gordon River extend the learning beyond the resort.
The programme runs seven days a week, 9am–4pm, for children aged 5–12. Seasonal expansions at Easter and Christmas bring festive programming with dedicated Ritz Kids sessions throughout the holiday period.
